Services I Offer
A holistic and humanistic approach
I work in a collaborative way with a person-centred approach allowing you autonomy. I work with adults and everyone deserves to be heard whatever age and no life is without trauma and loss. Though my area of interest is in loss and grief, I am not limited in working with those in this area. I can support those with a host of challenges including, anxiety, depression and trauma.
I will be the guide, supporting you navigating through your challenges.
A talking therapy - Counselling
I am an integrative counsellor. You are the expert on you and with my knowledge, experience and understanding can help you explore life situations for you to get to know you and your life. With regular sessions you will gain understanding and through this understanding, changes and healing can begin and support that connecting with self and others. It will help you connect back to your life and to live life.
A complementary therapy - EFT
Emotional Freedom Technique, (EFT) also know as Tapping, stress reduction techniques by tapping with fingers on acupuncture points. These points are on the Primo Vascular system, the integration of cardiovascular, nervous, immune and hormonal systems.
It has been around 40 plus years with now more than 20 years of research that show a range of affects on the biochemistry in the body including the brain activity such as calming the amygdala, plus reducing the stress hormone cortisol.
Once learnt it can be in your toolbox in supporting you day to day.
Supporting therapists - Supervison
I also am a supervisor and with the unique outlook of working in bereavement supervision.
If you need support within your role as a therapist and finding loss and grief coming up, I'm here to help and support you as a supervisor.

The Guest House
This being human is a guest house.
Every morning a new arrival.
A joy, a depression, a meanness,
some momentary awareness comes
as an unexpected visitor.
Welcome and entertain them all!
Even if they are a crowd of sorrows,
who violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture,
still, treat each guest honourably.
He may be clearing you out
for some new delight.
The dark thought, the shame, the malice.
meet them at the door laughing and invite them in.
Be grateful for whatever comes.
because each has been sent
as a guide from beyond.
